Monthly Archives: March 2013

At last, four months after my return from a memorable trip to Japan, the way seems relatively clear to start the blog I promised before leaving in mid November. I’ve started up a new blog for this and here is the link: Paper Pilgrim
I’ve now installed a new ‘follow via email’ button in the sidebar on the right hand side of this page: this is for following this blog. If you wish to follow the Paper Pilgrim blog, click on the volcano image which will take you to that blog, and use the ‘follow’ facility on the right hand side of the Paper Pilgrim main page.

I hope that covers all eventualities! I know some people have been having difficulties with signing up to follow….

ABCD lunch 2.3.13The Artists Book Club (Dove) met at the studio on 2nd March, bringing lunch (above) and our thoughts/actions on the theme ‘Given’ which had been pulled out of a hat of ideas at the January meeting. For results of the lunch, see above. For results of ‘Given’, which were altogether fascinating and thought-provoking, please see Ama Bolton’s blog.

The theme pulled out of the hat this time was, oddly enough, ‘Found’. The idea is that we ponder this and maybe make work based on the word, to bring to the April meeting, which will be on Saturday April 6th at Dove Studios, 11 – 3.  (NB the next meeting after this, the last one before the Autumn, will be on Saturday May 18th, also at the Dove).
