GOBSMACKED!!!

Ros Marchant started etching here at Dove Studios 15, no maybe more years ago, and then moved to France where she has tried fairly fruitlessly to find other printmakers in La France Profonde, so this marks a great breakthrough and here at Fingerprint, Dove Studios, we are all delighted.

Today I am truly gobsmacked!  I have just been accepted as a member of a print group in Toulouse called ESTAMPADURA.   Not only do they have a great name,  they will hold a small selection of my prints and put me on their website.  PLUS, they will point me in the direction of print exhibitions outside my immediate area – in fact, they have already invited me to join two of the shows they are sponsoring in Toulouse, one this  May “sur les petits formats” and one in September on the theme of “L’alphabet”.   They are also coordinating an open day for their members in May called “MANIFESTAMPE”, which will be promoted on their site.  http://www.estampadura.com

The reason I am so pleased, nay GOBSMACKED, is because I have had some small difficulty in the recent past convincing the french art world that my prints might be a teensy…
