Etching Courses February – May 2016

There are spaces on the following courses at Dove Studios, near Glastonbury:

Etching course tutor: Pennie Elfick (April) and Bronwen Bradshaw (Feb, March, May)

Photo etching course tutor: Jenny Graham


Etching Mondays: 11, 18, 25 April; 9, 16, 23 May

6 week term, fee £90

Etching Tuesdays: 12, 19, 26 April; 3, 10, 17, 24 May

7 week term: fee: £105

 Photo etch on Wednesdays: 13, 20, 27 April; 4, 11, 18, 25 May

7 week term, fee: £105


Times: 10 – 1 (Wednesday photo etching 9.30 – 12.30)

We use aluminium in these courses as it is cheap, safer, and requires no solvents in its use. This will be charged at cost, as will the photo etching film and paper – cheaper or more expensive paper (Somerset Printmaking) available from the studio.

All other costs are included in the general fee.

NB There are some places currently available on all courses after half term (5 weeks, starting from 22 February, ending the week leading up to Easter, fee £75). The days are the same as described above, ie Mon, Tues, Wed etching.
